Digital Marketing Coordinator

This full-time digital marketing coordinator position starting as a three month contract with a chance for the position to be extended.

The digital marketing coordinator manages and implements digital marketing efforts for Stream.ML, including paid and organic marketing, social media, and content development.  This position reports directly to the CEO.  The coordinator performs a variety of integrated digital and inbound marketing and social media functions to increase the company’s visibility through the development and distribution of information and materials.  A degree in marketing, communication, journalism, public relations, or a related area is preferred.  

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing short and long-term marketing strategies and advertising campaigns in order to create and increase brand awareness
  • Researching, analyzing and summarizing market trends;
  • studying competitors market behaviour and strategies; and keeping up-to-date on industry activities and trends.
  • Manage WordPress website, including all content and graphics.
  • Manage and analyze lead generation campaigns, including PPC marketing, programmatic, paid and organic social media.
  • Implement marketing strategies including website digital marketing, SEO, and targeting audiences based on the market research results.
  • Manage all online advertising with graphic designers to ensure graphics and data specifications for advertisements are met.
  • Create, manage and execute the social media on platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Manage and implement written and visual/multimedia content for digital marketing, including ads, social media networks, etc.
  • Implement email campaigns.
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral.
  • Assist with the analytics and tracking of all marketing campaigns and SEO efforts and assist with designing dashboards for digital tracking.
  • Work closely with the CEO to review, evaluate and maintain all advertising, marketing and other vendor contracts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and key vendors responsible for the production and delivery of advertising to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of scheduled advertisements.

Other Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage work flow on a daily and weekly basis to meet advertising and event deadlines.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of relevant advertising and social media practices
  • Other duties may be assigned as need arises.

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, advertising, public relations, communications, or related fields
  • 3-4 years’ experience working in related fields. Higher Ed experience a strong plus.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills
  • Manage projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines, and strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrate strong oral, writing and editing skills and good aesthetic judgment. Firm grasp of both internal and external branding and marketing concepts, techniques, and the ability to craft and implement strategies focused on marketing objectives and goals.
  • Proficiency in Facebook Ads Manager, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn.
  • Extensive experience with marketing automation and familiarity with Google Analytics is required.
  • Familiarity with a CMS systems is a plus.
